Only thing I know to do for yeast is add pre-biotics, pro-biotics and good enzymes & bacteria. Because some medicines kill off bacteria the good and the bad. The good bacteria is in our systems to fight off the bad naturally. This is the safest way. There are also cleanses that help with this. I would surely tell your Doctor about this.

Subject: [epilepsy] Question about Vimpat and yeast infections
Hi! Everyone,
I am new to the group. My daughter, Kim who is 17 has uncontrolled seizures from viral encephalitis when she was 6 years old. She is on 4 seizure meds and has the VNS implant. She started Vimpat about 2 months ago and she has been having one vaginal yeast infection after another. Has anyone had problems with yeast while taking Vimpat.
Thank-You,
Pam and Kim
