Tea can be very irritating to your stomach. It also can be full of fluoride, which bothers some people. It is often heavily sprayed too, I hear. It's one reason I go for more of my own fresh herbal teas lately.


If tannins are the problem, then adding milk might help. Or drinking herbal teas. Mostly these days, when tea is served, they serve a wide variety of types though, which makes it easy!

Has anybody else ever heard of this? Could it be the tannins?

I first experienced it about 10 years ago and have had it happen several times since (I have never been a regular tea drinker, just sporadic, situational). So of course, over the past few years after trying various things I have finally given up on ever trying tea.......but I just find this so odd........
