Re: [epilepsy] Complex Partial Seizures

 

This is a good point. I use to get frustrated because right after my
complex paritals people would ask me "Are you ok? DO you know you just
________?" (walked aroudn in circles, waved that napkin around) I would
always reply "I'm fine-yes I do" but then later would be frustrated to
find out I did something and they would say "we asked you if you knew"
and i had no clue. Talking about it while a person is in the postictal
state is terrible, the conversation is useless. Also, the worse the
seizure the worse the post ictal state. Absence seizures have the
shortest, grand mals the longest, complex partials vary a lot.
