[epilepsy] Re: Adrian, re: drinking

Thought I would put in my thoughts about drinking while on medications of any sort to stop seizures. the type of med. Also, each paticular med. is different because of the ingredients. Also the quantity of it has so much to do with drinking alcohol. In my 35 years of having epilepsy I've constantly read not to drink any alcohol when on medications to control seizures. I've never come across a single article during my 35 years of having epilepsy that talks about how its OK to drink any alcohol but cutting down to only this much or that much.

I would be very interested if anybody could find a single article to post in the group saying you can drink, and how much would be OK. Not just us here talking about how we each do it ourselves, but in print, Drs. putting in print that its OK and how much is OK. I would be very interested reading articles from the Epilepsy Foundation saying its OK to drink even a little while on anti seizure meds. or Drs. saying its OK and how much is OK. Take care, keep a smile on your face!
