Hi Adrien,
Even though her doctors have warned Megan against drinking alcohol, I know that she has drunk alcohol on a number of occasions in the past. She doesn't drink a lot, but I know that she has drunk enough on several occasions to be tipsy or inebriated. She has never had a seizure as a result of drinking. I've come to the conclusion that drinking small amounts, at least, is not a trigger for her. Oh, I should throw in here that Megan typically has tonic clonic seizures, when she has seizures.
Would I recommend everyone with seizures drink? No. Can I say there is a certain amount that is "safe" for all epileptics? Not really. If you were able to have a couple of beers with no ill effects, and have done so on a number of occasions, then it would seem that it would generally not bring a seizure on for you. Keep in mind that triggers tend to build on each other. So, if you didn't get enough sleep and then drink, the two triggers together might very well cause a seizure. And I'm going to guess that for some percentage of people with epilepsy, even a small amount of alcohol will cause a seizure.
So I guess what I'm saying is that there really is no definitive answer. Doctors advise against alcohol, so if you want to play it safe, don't drink at all.

PS Adrien, I'm trying to remember. Do you live in France?
