I had a couple of grand mals over the years consisting of major convulsions. I remember one of these where I reminded myself to just remain relaxed otherwise things would only be worse. I would no way have been alert enough to detect a spider walking across the cieling obviously. But I did not go unconcious and I was able to maintain my goal of remaining relaxed and just let the convulsions happen. On other occassions..

Douglas, how do your GMs seem like an eternity? Megan doesn't even
remember she's had a seizure, although she figures it out. Losing
consciousness, I would think you wouldn't have any idea how long that
lasted, other than people telling you.
