Re: [epilepsy] Re: what should i do, about my sz?

I had a couple of grand mals over the years consisting of major convulsions. I remember one of these where I reminded myself to just remain relaxed otherwise things would only be worse. I would no way have been alert enough to detect a spider walking across the cieling obviously. But I did not go unconcious and I was able to maintain my goal of remaining relaxed and just let the convulsions happen. On other occassions...about 2 or 3 I did go unconcious. The first time I did not know I had such severe convulsions and wonderred why I was so weak when I came to. I am not talking about these. These are in their own category. Nonetheless, during the others I wonderred when they would stop. The effects of feeling them myself made time go so slow seemingly.

Douglas, how do your GMs seem like an eternity? Megan doesn't even
remember she's had a seizure, although she figures it out. Losing
consciousness, I would think you wouldn't have any idea how long that
lasted, other than people telling you.

Just curious,
