Hi Tristin,
As far as your response, I would at least give her the phone number of the
crisis center a number in GA 1-800-715-4225. You might call the number your
self and get local resources in your own community as well as telling about
your friend.
I think her suicide risk might increase because school is out for the Summer
and her activities are more limited. Also if she abuses alcohol or drugs
the risk increases, past attempts also add to risk. In the past I have
worked in a crisis center in Cincinnati and dealt with this issue alot.
If you think she is at high risk you can send the police for a "wellness
check" to see if she is okay.
While I'm not trying to make you an mental health therapist this tool called
