Re: [epilepsy] Re:Is this an issue for anyone else?

For me, it's just because of temporal lobe epilepsy. "People with complex partial seizures, especially those originating in the temporal lobe, are more prone to a lack of sexual desire." (Epilepsy Foundation).   http://www.epilepsy foundation. org/answerplace/ Life/adults/ women/Profession al/sexuality. cfm

This could be due to many things. With women it is vital that they be touched after and during sex or a physical/chemical reaction occurrs.

Expect to feel at least sad. A guy needs easy specifics to please and a decent guy wants to. Our bodies change as we age, and also with various health conditions. For example, an impotent man should consider if there isn't a physical reason like diabetes.

This suggests to me that something has changed and it might be useful to question, find out what has.

Why not feel sorry for each of you. Have you had your hormones checked? Judith Reichman has been on Channel 2 talking about these very issues. There are also foods that naturally help.

Do you show physical signs of hormone imbalance. If not and it won't affect any meds you are on, consider what your husband eats. Maybe try including more humus in your evening meals.. natural testoterone

I think that's what I read. Hope this helps. 'Sandy'

I'm there. No interest in sex. Finally, I decided to "cuddle" (rub) every

night with my husband before we go to sleep. It does feel good but not like

before. It has yet to lead to sex although we keep the lubricant by the

bedside. I feel sorry for my husband but figure that things will lead to

things in the future. I used to love sex. Carolyn
