Mindy had the opposite effect - couldn't get enough sleep. She can still
sleep 12+ hrs a day....lol. No longer on Keppra though.

I don't doubt it. Apparently, it's a fairly well-known effect. I'm just glad
that there seems to be no reason for me to take anything seriously potent
for sleep or (OK, call me spoiled, but God forbid) polytherapy. I have a 15
yo autistic son and other health issues, so simple has to be the name of the
game.

I wonder if this is why Joe has so much problem sleeping..He' s been on
Keppra for awhile.

But insomnia is insomnia irregardless as to the causes. Ever think of asking
your family Dr for a prescription for sleeping pills to combat the insomnia.
It is not like you are asking for such a prescription so that you can have
your 20 cups of coffee during the graveyard shift! Furthermore the keppra
would probably lose its' effectiveness as sleep is needed to control
Epilepsy along with the Keppra.
