I was given clonazepam for RLS as my legs just wouldn't calm at night or evening or if sat to long for that
matter. Mentioned it to the doctor as told him thought my seizure I had was because of lack of sleep which my
legs cause. Immediately he put me on clonazepam only 5mg at night time to help both my legs and that it was a
definite I had to have my sleep or would be having more seizures for sure. At first the clonaz. I had to make
sure I had one foot in bed before taking as it put me out that quickly. Eventually it now relaxes me
completely but not to the sleeping stage for a good hour plus. Not sure whether it is wearing off or not. He
did tell me if I thought I didn't need it could only take when needed so wouldn't get addicted to it but I
think it goes good in combo with my other meds as sure notice the difference if don't take it.

My doc combined keppra with clonazepam/klonopin + some have found this to make them tired. It also makes the
keppra work better. Just one combo I' e heard of though.

So my insomnia has really kicked into gear after 2 weeks. I am getting about 3 hours of sleep a night--if I'm

at 6:45, I can go back to bed, but I'm afraid to sleep later than 9:30 or so. I am completely convinced the
Keppra is working, though, because I have certainly lost enough sleep to induce a sz...or ten.
How much longer should I deal with this before I tell my doctor? The pharm said I should give the 1500 mg dose
(my max dose) a week. I'm in my third day with it. Is this realistic??
