LOL at "don't ever call me late for a Prince concert!!" I'm with you on that one, Mike.....yeah, financially, times are tough...but I will say that I will definitely make it happen that I'll see Lil Man if he comes through Lousiana again....since 1985, I've only missed one of his shows, it was the Love Sexy tour, I think..it had to be 1987......I had just had my daughter and we weren't in the best situations.....I can't remember all the circumstances but I know I had totaled my car so we were using one very old and un-reliable vehicle and we didn't trust it to get us to the concert....we didn't have a credit card....I'm saying that because I remember having the money to get a rental car to drive to New Orleans (which is about 1 1/2 hours from where I live) but nobody was willing to get the car for us even though we would have paid for it....I was on the outs with my mom because back then she seriously had a problem with my man back then because of the whole interracial thing....so she wouldn't have done a thing to help me get a reliable car to drive to New Orleans to see this concert....ANYWAY, long story short....I remember crying because I couldn't go....seriously, I was a 19 year old new mom with this new baby and I was crying because I had to miss a Prince concert.....LOL...things have certainly changed over 21 years and I've managed to see him several times since, even for the week long Xenophobia Celebration in 2002.. and for the record, even though I split with my ex after 18 years, my mom grew to love him even more than me so my family has grown past all the race barriers that were up 26 years ago when I first starting dating my ex !!! ...and I'm joking about her loving him more than me...but my feathers get ruffled still today when she speaks so HIGHLY of the father of her grandchildren, but that's just because I don't like him anymore since we split 6 years ago so I don't want MY MOTHER to like him either!!! .....LOL .... ........BUT, I will NEVER EVER EVER miss another concert again as long as he comes to Louisiana......that you can be sure of!!! I will find some kind of way to pay for that ticket.....I work too dang hard everyday to not enjoy the things that bring me happiness.....so that is just not possible that I would not make it happen if he decides to tour again....that would be a definite justifiable expense no matter what my circumstances might be!!! You can't deprive yourself of happiness, you know?!?!? Regarding the website? I haven't joined yet because I don't see the feasibility right now....I mean, sure, we would get the downloads and all, but I'm more interested in the "connections" part that we might have access to.....like if and when he WOULD tour, I'd like the "first choice" ticket sales part of being a member.....if things change in his Purple Camp, then I'll definitely join to take advantage of the perks of being a member...right now though, I just can't justify spending $77 dollars just to say I joined, you know? I do plan on getting the CD at Target this weekend....still haven't managed to make it there with my crazy schedule but tomorrow I'm planning on taking the kids shopping and that CD will be MY treat to myself!!! Gosh, I hope he DOES decide to tour....he hasn't been to Louisiana since Essence Festival in New Orleans....dang, that was years ago too!!! Wishing you all a great Happy Friday!!

I'm not worried about the site. Because I can join when I can.Ya know...giving that it's an annual fee & stuff. But recently, there haven't been a lot of touring from the genius. So I don't care what situation I'm in financially. I can't miss seeing THE greatest live per4mer in music history! And if there is a tour announcement, that can give me time 2 save up. My personal priority musically is seeing this dude live as much as I can. U know what, fam? I tell my homies that they can call me whatever they want. But don't EVER call me late 4 a Prince concert!
