Hi All,
First of all, let me just say how impressed I am with you guys who have been sticking to the plan. I've been taking stabs at it for a couple months now, but have not gotten past a week yet.
Actually, I feel really good when fasting during the day, and food is so much more enjoyable when I eat. Also, I can tell that for me, the weight will definitely come off if I stick to it, as I have a fairly high metabolism already.
One of the biggest problems I have, however, is getting irritable and being a bit of a monster by the end of the day, which happens to coincide with going home to small children, which doesn't exactly soothe the frayed nerves.
Right now, I'm back to eating breakfast in the morning, mainly for the above reason. I guess the next step for me is to try what Dr. Herring actually strongly recommends, which is gradually working up to the 19 hours instead of jumping right in. So I'll give that a try soon.
But I just wanted to ask if anyone else has had a similar experience with irritability, and if so, did it subside or how did you deal with it?
Best,
Chet
