Really good plan for Marie, Danielle. Any changes in our hormones could also be why you were seizure free
from the G.M. for so long and now they are returning but as a different type. That is what mine kept doing,
although the G.M was always the dominant one for me.
Keep a diary of your seizures so you can take with you to your Dr. and he will be able to better see where the
problem lies.
I was feeling funny at one point also and ended up in emergency last year. After several tests they also
found I was low in sodium and some of the vit Bs. That was all it took to give me these dizzy funny type
seizures. Shortly after on next visit I got them to check all levels they could possibly think of. My calcium
was really low (a result of being on the meds for so many years) when given a bone density test they found I
now have osteoporosis.
take and vit d for sure. My cupboard looks like a pharmacy sometimes. :)smile:) but as long as it works and
helps control the side effects, hey.....I'm happy. That was one big thing it did for me as all my drugs over
the years was eating up everything I owned. There was no such thing as eating well. I could do that and
still need extra.
Take care.....stay healthy and happy and keep smiling.

Hi Marie,
Your plan to schedule another eeg is a great idea, especially since you haven't had one in 5 years. Maybe your
doctor could check your hormone levels as well. The slightest bit of change can off kilter your meds which, in
turn, can affect your seizure activity. Just a thought.
