CBI,
Welcome to our group.
When I was diagnosed 47 years ago I had grand mal szs but
about 15years ago they changed to more like complex partials.
My daughters say my brain is scrambled for a couple days.
I was 30 then and had 3 daughters 2, 4, and 6 plus a husband--
(now ex).
I consider a sz anything that for a few seconds or minutes--
you brain goes on vacation. You maybe conscious but your
brain isn't working correctly.
I have been on Dilantin and Phenabarb for over 20 years. My
last sz was 2 years ago and before that it was 4 years.
My szs have never been frequent. I have been a home health aid
for 25 years. I drive, do volunteer work and am on committees at
the retirement center where I live.
I knew a man who had tremors and I did not consider them szs.
