Re: [epilepsy] does generic brand make a difference



Millie is right. Generic isn't as strong or doesn't release the meds like it should if they are time release ones. I noticed a difference when I was given generic tegretol. I know some insurance will only pay for generics unless your doctor specifies no generics.

Brand name Dilantin is stronger than the generic for me. Different
people in the group have said that the Brand name is better for
them also.
