I am not debating this-- only telling you my experiences.
I have been on Dilantin and Phenabarb for over 20 years.
I saw the capsules change from the stripe to the orange
and white and they are no bigger. To me they seemed
the same.
Maybe 20 years ago I decided not to sweeten my tea with
artificial sweeteners anymore. I do not drink diet soft drinks.
I take 3 Dilantin Monday, Wed and Fri and 4 the other days.
I also take 4 - 30 gr phenobarb every day. My last sz was
4 years ago and before that it was 4 years.
When this came up some years ago I went on internet to
see what Dilantin was made of. It doesn't mention aspartame.
So I called the company that makes my Dilantin and asked
them if they put Aspartame in Dilantin. They said "NO".
I am going to call my pharmacist and see what they have to
say. I'm also going to check with my Dr.
When it comes right down to it -- I am going to do what I
learned in High School. " Just because it is written and just
because you heard it-- doesn't mean it is true."
If this article is true you have every right to be angry. I'm
not so sure I believe it. You can't believe every thing you find
on the Internet -- you know.

I came across this article a few minutes ago and found it very frustrating! Just wondering if anybody has heard of this? Showing this to your Dr. would be interesting! I haven't any idea the truth to this or not, its simply a article I came across which was written a few years ago. With our country run by corporations, I wouldn't be surprised if this is true!
In no way at all am I trying to start trouble in the group, believe me! But how our government works does! Like I said, lets not debate this in the group, just wanted to share this with others because of how frustrated this made me when reading it! Take care, keep a smile on your face!
