He's a kid, he'll grow up and get more musical experience. I was a Hardcore NYC
East Coast Hip Hop Head back before 1996 and then Prince's music hit me like
cupid's arrow or something. My musical taste have expanded but, I have a
compulsive nature and when I get into something, I really get into it. I've
heard some 'fans' say that Prince is music can be related to some form of
'witch-craft' and I can agree with that to an extent and then again, I know
myself. I know when it comes to certain things I can get caught up or mesmerized
by 'it' and talk about it or want to experience it for hours upon hours upon
hours.

This takes me back to when my wife and I went to 3121 Las Vegas. Prince actually
wore me out that evening (I'm embarrassed to say) and also having a problem
with the time change. I'm on East Coast time and Las Vegas is 3 hours behind me.
The show started at 11 or 12 at night and that was 3 am East Coast time. I'm
usually out like a light that time, that may have been it. Then again I remember
he started at 11 or 12 and played until 6 in the am, the sun was coming up when
we were on our way back to our rooms, my wife and I. The best thing about that
night, my wife and I met him. He gave us 5 o 6 minutes, I say '7' of his time.

Hi!

He does admit that I Will Die 4 U sticks in his mind.
But he likes Dream Theater, Pantera, etc. He likes Christian Metal!

Well, if your son 'loves' Metallica, I know that they only make 'hard
rock', if you want your son to understand or 'hear' Prince, you should
play the 'hard rock' stylings of Prince. Keep in mind that not all of
P's music has lyrics, he's has a lot of 'instrumental' works.
