I only have seizures, but my boyfriend has vertigo. He has had it for years.
It affects your balance and causes ringing in your ears. He had a bad
infection in his right ear and had to have his inner ear removed. This was
about 10-15 years ago. He did take meclizine for it and it did not help,
when he 1st start getting the symptoms for the vertigo. He still gets dizzy
and has ringing in his ears, which the doctor said would never go away. The
meds he tried didn't do much to help him. He slept a lot.The doctors told
him there was no cure of nothing that would stop it for good. He doesn't
have seizures, so I can't really tell you how they might affect each
other. He does have spots in front of his eyes and stuff too. The eye doctor
said them were floaters. There is no help for those either. He wears glasses,
but that is something he just have to be careful with, and very unbalanced.I
know this isn't an answer to your question completely, but I just wrote to
tell you something about vertigo. If there is anything else I might can help
with, let me know.
