[epilepsy] Re: Your experience with Keppra

 

Megan's neurologists both told us that Keppra is not a good primary drug for certain types of epilepsy, including hers, which is JME. Lamictal didn't work well for Megan, so they added Keppra to the mix, but even both of those drugs at the maximum doses didn't control her seizures. Megan had a lot of problems with aggression and feeling angry while on Keppra, and I understand that is a common side effect.
