I don't think they were shouting at you, but it was more of a concern. I read what you said, and thought 1) wow, you're like me! and 2) hmmm...does she feel safe to drive?
I know personally, this is a debate I have with myself all the time, and I took myself off the road last year for a bit. My doctor and I at least have an understanding where I have to be totally honest with her so I don't get into trouble.
Driving is a big issue here--we all want everyone to be safe, and we know public transportation isn't available to everyone. I think when we hear you sat in your car and didn't know for how long, it just raises a few red flags.
We obviously can't tell you what to do! Just take some time to get to know us, and I think you'll find a great community here!

I don't know what purpose it serves to yell at a new member of this group the way both of you did to me. I haven't given you all the details yet. I'm just in the get to know you stage. I came away shaking after reading what you said to me.
I need to know if this is how you treat all members here, is this typical behavior? If so, I will need to unsub. I already see people stepping on egg shells on certain topics around certain members and I wonder where the owner is in all of this. Does she endorse this type of behavior?

I have alot of information to share about myself but am hesitant to share for fear of being yelled at more. Does the owner of this group allow yelling like this?
Until you learn all the facts about a member, perhaps it's best to step back and give the new member some wiggle room before you blast him/her.
Now, I need a word from the group owner (Jewl) before I proceed here.
