Often when a person is both E and bipolar its bec of damage --even subliminal--in the right temporal brain lobe. Subliminal means it may be too small to show up on even refined MRI.EEg etc but it still has detriental influence. Damage to left temp lobe can produce sz too but the emotiomal behavoiral signs would be more like schiz than bip[olar
