Hey Bob - I just finished with my doctor visit.
He did some routine tests
checked my blood pressure, checked my vision, asked me some diagnostic questions, etc.
He told me that I was okay. He said that if something serious happened, I would not have been able to walk myself out of the gym.
He said the question is, what caused this? Is there some other condition that exists which caused this to happen, or was it strictly caused by overexertion?
He ordered an MRA... I'm going to call and have it scheduled right away. He said he didn't want me doing any exercise and if the symptoms return to go to the ER.
One thing that I forgot to ask him was whether or not this could be related to stress? I do have a very stressful job.
Thank you for your information and guidance I'll keep you all posted.

I went at a very slow, steady pace. I start the second set after about a 5 second rest and after about 3 or 4 reps I got a sudden, throbbing headache and started feeling like if it didn't stop I would faint or something. I have NEVER in my life had a headache that hurt that bad... I've never felt like that before, ever.

I did about 10 minutes of cardio afterwards and decided to just stop until I can figure out "what just happened."
