YES Y they ARE related--if you are both epileptic and bipolar 10 to one you have damage--subliminal even--IN RIGHT TEMPORAL LOBE of brain. If damage is in left lobe you would have sz, but more schizophrenia like emotional/behavoral symptoms. Corinna
