Thanks so much Heather for the lengthy reply. I will start being more observant of what I'm eating and drinking and keep everyone posted.
One thing I remembered after posting my last message is that in August, that is towards the end of summer, I have sometimes noticed that I shed lbs without trying. I guess automatically we eat less when the weather is warmer...Maybe that's what's going on. On the other hand this weight loss has been going on for at least a month now, so maybe it's something I'm eating. Another thought is that over the last year or so I've become emotionally / mentally healthier. Maybe as a result I need food less to boost my moods as I did in the past...
