Re: [epilepsy] Re: Question: withdraws

I wanted to thank everyone that has sent me info on my daughters jerkyness earlier this week. Due to her past and other conditions that my daughter has we have ruled out (between my dad and I, her peditrician and her epitologist) that it was not a seizure it was more of her muscle and her being worn out and her body going into a state of shock from what she had done all day. We had a bad storm 24 hours before and we were hauling logs, and trash and a bunch of heavy things and it made her use some of her muscles more then what she was use to. The shaking in her legs was her RLS (restless leg syndrome) and in her arms it was pretty much the same thing except in her arms. They do not think that it was from withdrawing her from the keppra we had done it faster and slower then how we are doing it now and never had this come up and shes continueing to do good.
We did some blood work got looked at by her peditrican and gave her a muscle relaxer with her motrin (per pediatrician and epitologist) and a warm bath and she is doing great!
thanks everyone!
Elizabeth

My Grand mals were mostly at night and if a true myoclonic they are strong enough to .... well that is what
would wake my hubby up as I would punch him a good one if he were close enough. He must of got it a few
times, as he always said if I were ever interested in boxing I would be the world champ. I know too having
them when fully conscious that ..oh my do they hurt. It felt like my arm was about to be fly right out of my
arm pit and would find myself trying to hold that arm protecting it so would not loose it entirely.
:))smile:)).
