My Grand mals were mostly at night and if a true myoclonic they are strong enough to .... well that is what
would wake my hubby up as I would punch him a good one if he were close enough. He must of got it a few
times, as he always said if I were ever interested in boxing I would be the world champ. I know too having
them when fully conscious that ..oh my do they hurt. It felt like my arm was about to be fly right out of my
arm pit and would find myself trying to hold that arm protecting it so would not loose it entirely.

Hi Elizabeth,
I read your post about your daughter description of your daughter talking and shaking. I was just wondering
if you ever looked up myoclonic seizures? I've never had them but was told of them by people who had them. I
had mostly complex partials. I also had auras which never led into seizures. In those auras I shook some.
My hand when held out really shook! But not my entire body, just mosy my hand. Click on the site below to
simply check if this describes what your daughter might be having? Take care Elizabeth, keep a smile on your
face!
