Re: [epilepsy] Need help understanding this...what do you think

Millie,
Yes, I have and wear two MedicAlerts on my body, one watch on my left wrist & one necklace round my neck. On which both say, PARTIAL COMPLEX SEIZURES, EPILEPSY, SPEECH & MOTOR DELAYED. Along with their telephone # and my identification #.  Also there's info. as soon as wallet is opened and before any information is looked for that says,                                   "EPILEPSY
MedicAlert on left wrist & neck",
If a paramedic would just call MedicAlert, who will tell them of my current meds etc., this has been done one time since '91 and there's allot more (20-50) times when they ignore to look at all. I'd like t tell them, to ignore this from being any type of emergency and go to another which may be, but I'm not able to speak from my memory/voice box which aren't very useful  just after having had been unconscious in a complex-partial seizure

Tim,

Do you have a Medical Bracelet to wear on your arm-- saying you have
have epilepsy and to please not take you to the hospital? Can you put
instructions somewhere on your body telling what to do?
