Hi Dani's Dad,
Megan's currently on 4000 mgs of Keppra a day, up from 3500 a day
because they are slowly weaning her off of Lamictal. We are going
back to depakote, as it was far more effective in controlling Megan's
seizures than her current meds. She may stay on Keppra with the
depakote, or possibly go back to just depakote. We know there are
potential problems and side effects with depakote, but she had almost
complete control of her seizures with depakote and currently has
about a seizure a week with the current drugs. We are actually pretty
excited about it. I'll let you know how it goes.
