I think sneaking up on my goal is best for me…
I was referring to the 2 day fast when I said I couldn’t to it, eating only once a day or within 5 hours time period, not so much of a problem.
Going to try the icy water anyway during the day. I could blend ice cubes into to slush. What sort of two liter bottle do you use? And it maybe good for the night, but as long as I eat in the evening, getting hungry at night isn’t a problem.
And yes, the problem could be that I am not eating enough. I will have to fix that. But I do want to lose weight. I suppose the amount of food eaten doesn’t matter though since I should be burning fat because of the 19 hour fast Right?.
Could it be that my body isn’t burning enough fat yet or do I just need to get to my 5 hour window?
Oh, yea, I have been waking up early to, around 4:30 am..

Guys and gals are just *different* when it comes to this, based on my observations over many years. Guys lose weight a much easier, and they skip meals easier. I have a very hard time adjusting my sleep patterns when I eat less ... mostly I wake up at like 5am.
I think the "sneaking up on it" approach is probably the best. It just takes time.

No to the fast. Was able to do that once upon a time but not anymore, I have tried.
I really want my window between 6:00 and 11:00 which will actually, adjusted for bedtime only be around 2 and ½ hours, probably just 1 and ½ hours. So I agree with you on the fasting time being the most important.
Even now, I am eating less everyday. Tonight, for the first time I could not even finish my dinner.
But thanks.
