Millie,
I started to work there (5/91),twenty years ago next May.I'm used to the
traveling,I wonder what I'd see w/o it.I'll be glad to retire before moving
closer to work,so if I'd there and retired there wouldn't be a reason to live
there anymore.I should buy another place in NC soon, but not sell this one till
price is up.Which will probably around when I retire before sixty.
I'll get the ambulatory installed Fri. at New York Sleep Institute and it will
be taken off after I go back up there on Mon..At NYU last Nov. 5day Video and
last month a WADA.Dr. Orrin Devinsky went to Yale, Harford, NYU & NIH.Now at NYU
he teaches neurology, neurosurgery and psychology,my seizure frequency seems
allot better. For 30yrs It was 3-4wks.,then after seeing a doctor at Johns
Hopkins it became 8-12wks..Now,it'll be 6mo. on 12/13/10, the last one I know of
was on 6/13.I wonder if I'm just now conscious of unknown ones. The ambulatory
may show that I'm having some very quick seizures, that I'm not aware of.
Just when it's over I'll probably be asked; How many seizures did you have?I
might say:None. But after viewing the record doctors might see none,a few or many
short or long ones. That'll be interesting.
How many people never were diagnosed with epilepsy and don't know that a seizure
occurred in a fraction of a second seizure happened, then they wonder; what the
h@!! caused this accident(while driving) which they blamed on the other driver
but knew nothing of it happening.

Tim,
Wow! 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 hours travel time to and from work seems a long time.
Have you considered living closer?
You have never mentioned that you had a sz at work. How long have you
worked there?

Millie,
Each morning it takes 2.25 hours to get to work at FDA(Food and Drug Admin.)
from Baltimore to work in DC.Back home takes another 2.5 hrs. a day.Usually I
work MTThF,but this week isn't normal I'll work MTWTh and then travel Fri. to NY
to have a 72hour ambulatory eeg put on.Next week will be WTh&F, to return to NY
on Mon. and get back to Baltimore at 8:20PM,then home between 10&11:30PM,so I'm
taking off Tues.to sleep it off.Epilepsy is the reason it takes so long to
travel via public trans. instead of just driving back&forth. Its worse when going
to the store, where drivers just go once and throw everything into their
car.I have to take a bus and carry only two hands full more than just once.

Timothy,
That sounds like you have the meds labeled well covered now. Yesterday
you said the meds were unlabeled. Sounds like you have all your meds
very much under control for home also.
How many times has this happened since the meds are labeled?
What kind of work do you do in DC? How long do you have to travel each day?
It sounds like to work 4 days a week --M,T, Th and Fri. Is this correct?
Could the pharmacist put on the label that they are for EP?

Millie,
I take a few weeks of two medicines to work in two prescription bottles, that are
labeled by the pharmacist.Don't mix more than one type of medicine in one
bottle, also put them in the correct bottle.Don't create labels, the cops could
figure that out.
I wonder how many dope dealers are carrying drugs to sell around in just a
labeled bottle?
To prevent the label from being worn down by rattling or wiped off by a hand and
becoming blank which can't be read.I coat it plastic/scotch tape to protect it.
Each Saturday I set up next week's AM and PM medicines. The PM doses are all
taken at home and go into a separate weekly supply container which is divided
into days of the week.
Then the AM doses is divided into two sets M,T&Th,F; those are either already at
work or I'll need to take three weeks of them to work in a labeled bottle that
isn't outdated. The remaining days, SunW&Sat are put in another weekly supply
container for that weeks AM doses at home.
