Rebecca,
What are the laws of your state about how much
time should elapse after a sz before driving?
I don't know that I am not acting as usual-- I
have to be told. But I have learned that when
I am told I need to listen to them. I also know
if any of the things happened to me that happened
to you-- I would have called someone or asked
someone to take me home.
Driving a car in that condition is not a good idea.

Subject: [epilepsy] Driving
Whenever I hear about people driving with seizures I think Jealous. I know I am. I am a mother of 2 children that should be in preschool and I cannot drive them. I have to depend on people to purchase regular daily groceries, and household items. If we are out than too bad. My son will tell me he is bored and wants to go somewhere and I cannot take him. Doctors appointments, I am sure you can imagine, are hell. I do not understand why some people with epilepsy and reoccurring seizures get to drive and others get their license taken. I have been without driving privileges for 2 years now and I would give anything to get to the store and buy my own milk.
