Re: [fast5] Re: New with a question

Hi laura.

I have found that if I have a very satisfying meal (whatever that may be by my standards for me) I just am never hungry until my window opens in the evening. My window is 6:30pm to 11:30pm. generally I cook around 6:30-7:30 depending on the night and then eat between 8 and 9 (I wait 15 to 20 minutes between "courses") and then I am done.

I do drink herbal teas, water with fresh lemon in it, decaf coffee and such throughout the day. So that may have something to do with why I am never hungry.

Good Luck and let us know your progress.

Sincerely

Jennifer Lupo, D.M.

Yea, but what if you get hungry at night? Icy water won't cut it.   I am one of these people that cannot sleep if I am the least bit hungry.

No to the fast.  Was able to do that once upon a time but not anymore, I have tried.

I really want my window between 6:00 and 11:00 which will actually, adjusted for bedtime only be around 2 and ½ hours, probably just 1 and ½ hours. So I agree with you on the fasting time being the most important.

Even now, I am eating less everyday.  Tonight, for the first time I could not even finish my dinner.

But thanks.

Laura

Try eating a big meal around midday with a full day's worth of meat and animal fat, then fast for 19-23 hours straight before you eat your meal the next day. Drink icy water or other no calorie drink when you feel hungry in the meantime.

"Jump in! The Fasting is fine." No need to torture yourself by creeping up on the fasting life-style.

I first started with a fasting period of over 2 days for my entry into trying fasting just as a challenge to myself. Once you survive that the 20 hour fasts will be easy. Fasting for extended straight hours is what it all boils down to as this lowers insulin levels, which switches from fat production to burning. Too many make it more difficult than it is by concentrating on "eating window". It is long extended fasting period every day that counts.
