[epilepsy] Thought Concerning Seizure Alert Dogs

I understand what everyone has said about how helpful and treasured these dogs are to those of us that have them.My question is because dogs are the only animals it seems that I am seeing indicated as helpful (not trying to say i dislike dogs).I am wondering if anyone knows of other animals that are known to be helpful when it comes to epilepsy.I'm just curious to see what other animals can be named. For instance I was told some time back by some veterinarians that the purring effect by cats produces a "calming" effect on people that is actually an excellent stress reducer. Thus, greatly helpful for reducing the possibility of having seizures. Can anyone else give some examples of and in what way were they helpful ?
