[epilepsy] Re: Epilepsy's Big, Fat Miracle

I never had a problem with my weight. Actually, everybody tells me I've always not weighed enough (smile)! Always between 150-155 pounds, its the most I've ever weighed in my 53 years of life(smile). One reason is I've always been very actice. Walking off stress I had to do each and everyday. The more the stress, the more I walked, the more I walked, the better I felt. I've had epilepsy 35 years now. Also very active in tennis though I had seizures (complex partials) on the tennis courts. And, always have 2 fruits each day (always a banana each day, sometimes 2 when very active during the summer) with a pear or apple. No meat, and eat very mild amounts of food. Very little munchies ect... What I do munch on are peanuts. All my life got good words from Drs. about my health. Just my few words about what to eat (smile). But most important I believe is getting up and out to not only burn off the weight, but to lessen stress. Stress is the main reason I walked, and became used to walking fast for miles to burn off stress. During the summer would walk early morning or evenings when its not hot. During the winter I just bundled up even when zero degrees. Yea, I no I'm crazy! Now I can say I do that because I'm missing part of my brain (giant smile)! I guess that is why I feel very light headed (smile)! Take care, keep a smile on your face!
