Re: [epilepsy] Hello from the hospital

We did that last Thursday thru Sun. Told em Sunday am - I HAD to leave no
matter what today - have 2 other kids at home, and no one to watch them this
week. So they increased her Keppra (1000mg 2x day) - generic (no probs yet)
and sent her home, any more in 3 -4 weeks, they offered to do an ambulatory
EEG while in school - since that where they mostly happen.

Good Luck!!

hello I know exactly what you mean. I am in the Tx Childrens with my
daughter hooked up the the EEG machine we have been here since monday and
she is having lots of abnormal activity but no actual seizures. They
started weaning meds today we will see I am really aggraviting her today
she just wants to lay around and sleep today hopefully that is a good sign
but i am not letting her sleep. Hope you get what you are looking for soon
as do we.

Your welcome Betty. I hope it makes the days go faster and I'm praying for
you to have a seizure only because ofthe need for you to have one. Looking
forward to hearing how things went, keep in touch!

Hi everybody! I'm just lying here waiting to have a seizure. This is my
third day on the monitor. I'm getting frustrated to say the least! When
you want to have a seizure then you can't. I hope I will soon. I miss
my little girl. Thank God I got access to a laptop....hehe. Now I can
communicate with the outside world. Thanks Trish! That was the first
thing I asked for. I guess the doctors will be around soon. Maybe if I
stare at this laptop long enough today I'll have a seizure. I'll try to
keep you posted. Take care!

Betty Gail
