[epilepsy] Re: Hello, Sending My Best Wishes to All.

Anne and Tammy,

I know exactly what you mean. I started having seizures when I was
four. One day, I walked into my parents' room complaining of a
headache, and then fell to the floor and started convulsing. It had
to have scared them half to death. I have no idea what could have
caused it. Several times in my life I wished that I didn't have
epilepsy. I would look back and think of how different my life could
have been if I didn't have to take meds for it(better grades in
school, able to go all the way through college, better social life,
etc.), then I get frustrated, then it starts building up until I have
to just stop what I'm doing and "reboot" so to speak. I take a few
deep breaths, collect my thoughts, count my blessings, and then I can
start going again. Sorry for venting, and I know I will probably do
more venting in the future, but it helps to get stuff like that off
my chest, even if I'm not verbally expressing myself.

with it sometimes. I have wondered that myself, but anymore I just
try to do things for others and forget my own problems and it helps
me more doing that.Try not to worry so much about it and do things to
make you happy. You are more than welcome to write and talk to me
anytime. Take care.
