Re: [epilepsy] Epilepsy and Bipolar

I do know as you Bruce that should you have bipolar AEDs are given to help control. I have been a caregiver
for such. A person that has bipolar is liable to have a seizure but how it is related and if it is a non
epilepsy seizure or epilepsy one I am not sure. It wouldn't hurt to google your question and see what you come
up with. Keep us in the know how.

Do you think there is a clear link? Seems to me that if the same meds are used to treat both, then they have
got to be related.

But the question is: Does the bipolar create the epilepsy or vice versa.
