RE: [fast5] Fast 5 maybe not for me?

Nah, you would not be the first, but if you can’t there is some reason.  I could never loose more than 10 lbs on Atkins.  Then found out I had Hashimoto’s Thyroid, but by then, I couldn’t tolerate the induction phase.  So I am now mostly Paleo, but I find I really need starch, like potatoes or rice which isn’t strictly paleo.  But my rule is little or no highly processed foods, and if I have to get something that is processed, shouldn’t have anything in the ingredients that I don’t know what it is.  So eating like that is good, but I wasn’t loosing weight, so I decided to give Fast 5 another try, cause the first time, I couldn’t do it either for feeling light headed.

So, my advice would be to check out paleo eating, and/or at least give up everything that has wheat/flour in it forever and sugar in all its forms [except fresh fruit/not canned], especially HFC for awhile.   Eat your twice a day and in a few weeks try again.

I tried changing my window to 10a to 3p, but I consistently wake up
staaaaarving and absolutely cannot get back to sleep. I am getting to be
a wreck with such broken sleep.

My original problem with a 3p to 7p window was feeling light headed and
exhausted during the day until I ate. Someone suggested potassium and
magnesium. I tried that, but they make me soooo tired.

I would love to do fast 5... I have about 5 lbs to lose, too... but I
can't seem to get it right. :( What seems to work best is eating at 10a
and then eating at 7p. So it is skipping a meal. But not fasting for 19
hours...

Am I the only one who can't seem to do this?
