Re: [epilepsy] taking AEDs, still a seizure's possible.

Kelly,
The last two of three doctors I've seen are Dr.Krauss at Johns Hopkins who
doesn't seem to see people w/o epilepsy.Currently I see Dr.Orrin Devinsky runs
New York University's(NYU's) Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. He created
FACES(Finding A Cure for Epilepsy and Stroke)it's written every three months. He
went to NIH just to learn more about epilepsy within NINDS(National Institute
Neurological Disabilities and Stroke) after previously going to Harvard,Yale
and....He's seems good to me,others and US epilepsy foundation.NIH's
Neurological Disabilities and Stroke sounds wider than the his words,Cure
Epilepsy and Stroke.
The first of my three neurologists see's patients with other types of neurology
problems,he's the only of the three.

Tim,

have you ever seen an epileptologist verses a neurologist? Also, it is
possible you may never be seizure free, but don't give up until you are
satisfied all avenues have been exhausted. I had surgery in May of 08'
and I am on 2 meds and still not completly seizure free. I have a
couple per month, which is way better thent he dozen or so I was having
before!
