Wendy and Marty,
I live in Indiana where there are also the 4 seasons. I cannot tell
any difference in the weather -- whether hot or cold and szs. Stress
makes a difference.
I also live in a HUD building of 150 apts -- most are senior citizens and a
few mentally challenged. All we have to do is call the office and tell
them what we need. They usually come in a day or so-- depends
how many other service calls they have. If what they fix belongs to
them -- like the kitchen sink, 'frig, stove, bathroom or blinds-- there is
no charge. If they work on something that is ours-- like my new
VCR/DVD recorder -- or my lift chair - that goes on our bill.
It is also set up that if you need help-- all you have to do is pull your
phone off the hook and if you can't answer -- security or maintenance
will be there STAT(right away). Also if you call 911- they also come
to make sure the doors are unlocked for 911 to come in.
There are 1200 people on the campus including health care.
Millie

Dear Wendy,
I live in New England and have been here all of my life. Between the four seasons Spring , summer Fall and winter. The seasons nd weather really has no affect on me. Neither on other friends who I know dealing with seizures. Stress can play a really big role in them though. I did send you a emaail, but let me know if you get it ok?? My complex has over 100 people here and only 7 are disabled people. The seniors get all the attention they want . When we ask for help or have something need to be fixed we are always put on hold. So it makes me stressed out and I do it myself lol! Also socializing with other people away from here keeps me active and relaxed.
Have a wonderful New Years.
PS. we are in for a good snow storm now be prepaired 10-16 in. coming??
So have a wonderful New Years now Wendy.
Marty
