Subject: [epilepsy] Lyrica made me child move again

Hello it has been a long time since I made a post. My daughter has a very rare
form of epilepsy. There is no name for it because they have never seen it
before. She has a very low dopamine level and that causes all kinds of problems.
We were having problems with vommitting and she was not able to use her muscles
she was very weak and lifeless. I'm not saying she was paralized but she just
didn't have strength or the will to move. We started Lyrica about four months
ago to get her to stop throwing up. Something amazing happened she started to
move again. She can now reach with her arms, walk with lots of help, she crawls,
she even started to eat by mouth again. We still feed through a G-J tube but the
vomitting stopped immediatly after starting Lyrica. She is moving around and we
are so excited she still has seizures and still has problems but I just wanted
to share our experience with lyrica with you. She takes 300mg three times a day.
She weighs like 60 lbs and is age 8. I hope this information will help others
with conditions simmilar to hers. But please talk to your doctor and discuss how
Lyrica can help your child. Patricia
