Can you hurt yourself doing those? I am afraid of injury.
I guess if I could go to a class or have someone show me how to do it the right way.
I like walking, there is not much danger of injury.

I like to do weights that I max out at just over five and do lower repetitions than that for a just few sets maybe twice a week.

I am not losing so may pounds now but am losing inches off my waist and beginning to see mucular definition.

That makes your whole body work out while merely walking. It will make you burn fat. If you don't want to go for a walk, then you can find a chair or bench and sit on it, stand up and press the weights up overhead and repeat until you can't do it anymore and then take a break and try it again. This will burn fat and is a total body workout that will help you to look good.

Still it makes sense to do upper body exercises with weights as well if you can, and if you do both legs and upper body at the same time it will definitely give you the hormones you need to burn the fat and build the muscle/tone you want to look your best.
