[fast5] Re: Breaking through a plateau?

You make a good point about variety taking a hit.  The other night I made myself breakfast for dinner just because I missed breakfast foods!  I went through the refrigerator and turned a lot of people food into chicken food simply because it would go bad before I'd get a chance to eat it if I didn't.  Since I did this suddenly and cold turkey, there was no prep period or transition time to ready the fridge and pantry.  I keep telling my kids to eat more but they all work and are in and out all the time and it just doesn't happen.  Sorta like seeing empty space on refrigerator shelves.  :-)  I am going to go through the pantry and donate a lot of the nonperishible items in there, my daughter and her fiance moved in an incorporated their groceries into the pantry and we'll never eat all of it in a timely manner.

I am wondering what others do about food selection.  Does dinner sometimes mean bacon and eggs and toast or a sandwich or mostly dinner type foods, meats, salads, veggies?  I'm trying to mix it up and after I get past Christmas will go back to very low sugar by making myself some sugar free baked goods for dessert.  It has been miraculous to lose weight in the month of December for me!

Merry Christmas everyone.
