Kim,
Did you know that if you don't have your meds and you are miles away from home --
you can go to a pharmacy and have them call your pharmacy. If you have some
refills coming they can give the first pharmacy the go ahead to give you however
much you need. When you get home though you may have to ask your Dr. for
another RX. They may even do it if you have no refills-- since they have your history.
This has happened to me twice. The first time I was away for a day (about 35
years ago -- I went to a pharmacy and they just gave me what I said I take.
The second time I was 250 miles away for the weekend. That was maybe 12
years ago. Then the pharmacy called my pharmacy and gave them they gave
them the go ahead to give my meds to me.
I then had to get a new RX when I got home.

I worked in a nursery at a ACE HARDWARE. I have a degree from cal poly. all
the info went down a drain because of seizures but i pushed myself hard at the
time of learning.
Tell me about it i had fun all day away from my parents but still came back to
my friends and got in bed and cried twice. part of the reason was her and my
parents met halfway with my meds so i could stay longer and go to sea World....
guess what my mom brought the wrong meds!!! Now I am back to square one... It
just kills me to get over things that go WRONG.. most of time lately i just go
back to bed..
Good for u that u keep busy!

Kim,
I'm sorry that you didn't get to walk in the EP walk but had a seminar instead.
And then it wasn't even about things that would help you. It sounds like you
either met some people or you knew them before.
What have you done when you work?
How long are you supposed to take this med that will makes your depression
worse before it helps you? Somehow-- this doesn't make any sense to me.
I live in IN where the weather is thinking about getting cold and snowy. We had
a few flakes of snow yesterday-- but the temp is still around 30 so it just
snowed
and melted.
I sold my car last year so I don't worry about driving in the snow any more.
Last
year also retired from being a home health aid for 25 years. I get to Dr.s
appointments by a shuttle that they have here at the Retirement Center. I go
to church with a couple from church who live about a mile from me. I get my
groceries either on the bus from here or one of my 2 daughters who live here
in town take me. I also sometimes walk across the street to a small Sav-A-Lot
grocery, bank and $ store. I can carry over $30 worth of groceries on my walker.
Everywhere I go on campus I walk with a walker with a seat. I don't use it in
my apartment nor when I work in the dining room-- which I do about 7 times a
month. I got it because a few years ago I had fallen 7 times in 3 years.
This last election day I worked as a clerk in my precinct here on the campus.
There are 3 precincts here on the campus in the same building. Counting over
100 absentee ballots we had over 700 people voting in my precinct. We were
there at 5 am and worked until 7 pm. This was my first time working as a clerk.
I had the book with names that started with A - L and another lady had one with
names that started with M - Z. I learned a lot -- which is what I like to do.
I have my address on this message to come to me because my printer will only
print one page of the original letter but if I have it sent to me -- it will
print the
whole letter.

Kim,
I am changing to the group so more people can learn to know you.
I hope this goes thru. The last time I tried this it didn't go thru. How
about telling the group some of the things you told me?
