Re: [epilepsy] Anticipation of seizure

Doris
Any that happen to me during the day is not really a seizure that am aware of, just that dizzy unsteady
feeling which gives me time to sit or get something cold to drink.
During the night I am told I twist and turn and end up in a fetal position for some time before going to
sleep. This to my hubby is usually a sign of seizure just before awaking in the morning. It makes no
difference to me as the twisting and turning does not seem to fizz on me and am out like a light or have that
feeling.
Should it turn into a gen. GM in the am it is during my sleep and do not know anything until possibly later on
that day or the next when all the side effects I begin to wonder where they came from.
Sometimes I do though find myself not wanting to go to sleep at night and wonder if this is my bodies way to
telling me one is coming.

Doris,

Most of my seizures come in the daytime, but if they do come in the night I
rarely get any sleep that night. Most of the time, when I have a seizure, I
can tell when it is going to happen. I only have a few minutes notice
though. I tell somebody and try to sit down before it happens. I don't have
the warning all the time though. When I was younger I never knew when I was
going to have them.I can't explain the way I feel when it gets ready to
happen; I never have been able to explain it to the doctor. It is there and
after the seizure is over it is gone.It sure helps as fars as keeping you
from getting hurt.
