For the most part my window is 3-8 PM. Often I'm busy at 3 and start late, but I seldom go beyond 8.
That's when I'm not cheating :-)
I've been eating Fast-5 for about 17 months and lost most of my 55 lbs in the first 6 months. I'm male, over 50 and have been kind of stuck around 188 lbs for a few months. While I would like to get down to around 175, I am about at the weight I was when I graduated college; 175 would be close to the weight I was when on a swimming team in high school. So 175 might be overly ambitious. I actually feel pretty good at my current weight and don't really worry if social events (or other goodies) occasionally have me eating outside my window. But I haven't let this become a habit.
I've probably cut out some carbs and have increased protein and fat, I don't ever think plan too much about what I'm eating. But I do usually break my fast with a piece of cheese while preparing the rest of my meal. It seems to get me started on the right foot. Breaking a fast with sweets always leaves me hungry, eating lots of sweets that day and the next and gaining weight.
