There have been periods of my life where I was significantly fitter than I am today. I ran regularly and lifted, though I hated every pavement-pounding stride and never understood that "runner's high" folks spoke of.
...until a few weeks ago when, on a routine errand to mail a letter, I couldn't help but run rather than walk, because my legs were itching to burn energy and it just FELT SO GOOD. I've *never* felt this sensation before, this *joy* in exerting my body, and yet, but all rights I should be sluggish and weak.
Not eating is awesome. :D

Who would have thought that gaining control over food and your intake could cause such a positive effect in your life. It's also a nice side effect to be complimented (daily) by others about your appearence!
