I haven't seen a neurologist for a couple of years now. I have to weigh my options carefully, because every time I see the neurologist it causes more problems than it solves. For instance, I've never had an MRI and I think it might be helpful. I'd also like a repeat VEEG because the one I had 7 years ago was skewed in various ways. These things aren't "justified" to the insurance, yet the neurologist puts limits on how far I can drive or tells me I can't take a shower while I'm alone in the house (which is most of the time). I know the easiest solution would be to get a new neurologist but I've pretty much gone through all the ones in the area. Very frustrating. It may sound irresponsible to put an issue of health on the back burner, but sometimes its not the right time when you have to deal with all the conflict involved.
But it is a help to learn more about different kinds of seizures. I found this experience very strange. Thanks again.
