[epilepsy] NFL player with Epilepsy (Was Re: Junk Email Senders)

Hi Steve,

Two things. First, thank you for explaining what I was having trouble putting into words. Even if you recognize a name or email address, chances are 999 out of 1000 that if there is a link for male enhancement or hot chicks involved, that person's email address has been hacked. They don't know about it and haven't been sending you the emails themselves. Just delete or train your mailbox that these messages are junk mail. Sending them angry emails or deleting them doesn't really solve the problem. It just creates more problems for the person whose address has been hacked.

With regard to the NFL player with epilepsy, why does that scare you, Steve? I didn't read that particular article, but if a person's seizures are well controlled, there is no reason not to engage in almost any activity. Well, I'm not recommending solo flying or channel swimming, but most activities are ok. Why did you find it scary? I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on this.
