1.  Pay professional packers/movers.
2.  Delay the cat's eye surgery (he can see out of the other eye) until the crisis is over.
3.  Insist that your pharmacy transfer your thyroid scrip to another pharmacy with the meds in stock.
4.  Explain this very important life lesson to your son:  Life is Not Fair.
